International arrivals into Zambia come in through Lusaka, Livingstone and Mfuwe International Airports. Both Lusaka & Livingstone have daily flights from Johannesburg (South Africa).
Proflight & RwandAir have scheduled flights Johannesburg - Luaska / return. These fly every day except Sunday & are the perfect inbound flights for visitors as they are synchronized to enable Proflight Zambia’s passengers to seamlessly connect to and from its network. Please contact us for details.
The majority of guests fly Cessna caravan (30 mins) to Jeki airstrip, a dirt airstrip in the middle of the National Park. It is then a 15 minute game drive down to the river and a 25 minute boat cruise into camp.
The more adventurous option is the road & boat transfer from Lusaka. This is a 2 ½ hr drive to Chirundu, a border town on the Zambezi River. From here you transfer into one of our boats for a stunningly scenic boat cruise down the Zambezi, to Potato Bush Camp, a further 2 ½ hrs. Please contact us for more details.
A direct charter takes approx. 1hr 45 mins to Jeki. A more economical option is to fly via Lusaka,. Contact us for the most appropriate option & availability.
Mfuwe is the main airport servicing the South Luangwa National Park and is a 1hr 45min direct flight to Jeki.
